LWL - Archäologie für Westfalen
The federal state archaeology of Westphalia-Lippe (LWL-AfW) is an independent agency for the protection of archaeological heritage under the administration of the Westphalia-Lippe Regional Association (LWL) in Germany.
In April 2017 the LWL joined the LBI ArchPro in order to work on the joint advancement of EMI sensing methodology, to investigate the applicability of various geophysical prospecting methods on different soil settings in Westphalia-Lippe as well as to overall benefit from the participation in an international experts network in the field of non-destructive landscape archaeological prospection.
